Stunning Clydie X WB huge performance potential 16hh 8yo - excellent mover! Cargill Tyson Equestrian proudly presents for sale on behalf of owner “Valley”! She is an 8yo 16hh approx Clydie x Warmblood. Valley is a striking bay with excellent conformation and an elegant uphill front with a beautiful natural arch to her neck. She has a generally quiet temperament and is not too spooky at her surroundings but is still green and can be a little sensitive to hop on when she has been out of work. She was only sensitive the very first day she came to us and didn't do anything naughty, just got a little uptight and let go of her back after around 10 minutes. Ever since she has been a breeze to handle and ride after a quick lunge. It seems to be just a young horse behaviour that she has grown out of with just a few weeks of consistent training with us. We would really like to see to her go to an intermediate rider at least or someone who is going to very closely with a trainer over the next few months to consolidate the training as she is a serious performance prospect for the future. She has exceptional paces with a flashy trot with good lift and push and a big, expressive canter with loads of scope. She is generally soft over her back and willing to stretch/reach into a steady contact. She is relatively forward moving but can still be a little lazy of the leg at times although she is getting more responsive every day. As she is green she can get a little strong in the hand at times so needs a rider capable of make some half-halts and doing lots of halt-walk-trot transitions so she can build up the strength to develop self-carriage. She has just started jumping with Ben and is willing and capable. Just a little weak in her jump still but she has certainly made some great shapes and shown good technique to make a future eventing/allrounder star! With the shape of her neck, her willingness to accept contact, great back and her excellent paces, this horse is destined to excel in the dressage ring and could even make a competitive show hunter as she is so pretty. She is an enjoyable horse to train as she is a quick learner and we literally feel the improvements every single ride. We haven't had a chance to get her out on the local trails just yet but she isn't really a spooky horse in her surroundings so are looking forward to hacking her out some more next week. She has been very sound and is only for sale as she is too small and green for her very busy/time poor dairy farmer owner who has gone with an educated thoroughbred who he can casually enjoy without too much effort. Valley is definitely looking for a committed and competitive rider who is wanting to invest the time in her and help her reach her potential. She is a seriously talented horse who will enjoy climbing the levels in dressage and/or eventing with her new rider. No beginners/returning to riding etc.- She is a sensible horse but needs someone ready to take on a talented young horse and continue producing her correctly. Priced to sell, Located Nyora VIC
